Which ice grips to choose?

We sell two types of ice grips, 'magic spiker' and these, the 'ice cleats'

Putting them on?
Some customers find the ice cleats easier to put on that the 'magic spiker'

Grip
The 'ice cleats'  have six studs, 4 on the ball of the foot and 2 on the heel.
The magic spiker has 4 spikes on the ball of the foot which are more aggressive than  the ice cleat studs.

Size
The magic spiker is a more compact design than the ice cleats

Types of footwear
The ice cleats can be worn with trainers, wellies or boots whereas the magic spiker is more suited for heavier boots & shoes.

Conclusion
For everyday day use on the high street the ice cleats are probably a better option, easier to take on and off . (you normally have to take them ice grips off before entering shops).  For something to put in your rucksack going up the fells then the magic spiker may be more suited.
